New Garden Transitions

2023 was a great year!
Projects included: a woodland restoration project, a creative outdoor play environment for a family of young boys, a bamboo eradication project. woodland settings and open sunny lawns needing inspiration, and tired aged foundational landscapes in need of renovation.

This year also included numerous hardscape projects:
*Welcoming gate accesses/entries
*Flagstone paths that led to new gardens
*New paver/flagstone patios were constructed for outdoor living
*Retaining walls built to stabilize hillsides and serve as planter beds and seating walls
*Ledge stone steps were installed to access hillsides
*Boulder accents were added for retaining wall functions and for visual garden accents.
*Cobbles and river rock beds served as erosion solutions and fence border maintenance edges

Creative, Complete, Custom Crew!!

2023 Has been an exciting year!  We have had many open gates and new paths with willing clients and exciting projects. Joel Bockelman, with Complete Outdoor Expressions, and his crews provided all the equipment, supplies and  brawn labor to implement our Client's Creative, Complete, Custom designs!! Communication Options for Conceptual Designs

Most of my projects start as field designs, flagged and painted on site. My entry level of
graphic communication with a client is a field sketch on a scaled base map or plot plan
during the initial consultation. Depending on the scope and scale of the project the next
step involves an overall scaled conceptual sketch with general notes to define tasks,
guidelines for material, and labor estimates to establish a basis for a budget. A further
design review with the client defines budget guidelines and the details of the design
take form with modifications, adjustments and recommendations to work within the
budget. My collaborative style of design and relationship with clients and contractors
allows options, choices, modifications and flexibility with design layouts and materials.
